We keep this website as light as we can. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and you will not see a cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What this site stores
Only what is needed to make the site work.
- Language choice (Gaeilge / English). If you choose Gaeilge in the top bar, a cookie named
googtransremembers your choice and the page text is sent to Google Translate to be translated. Nothing is stored unless you select it. Switching back to English removes it. - Dismissed notices. When you close a practice alert at the top of the page, a small entry is kept in your browser’s local storage so the same alert does not reappear. It contains no personal information.
- Offline copy. The site can be added to your phone’s home screen. If you do this, your browser keeps a cached copy of pages so they open quickly and work with a poor signal.
- Online forms. Our registration and records-request forms do not set cookies. What you enter is sent to the practice — see our Privacy Statement for how it is handled.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social-media buttons or externally hosted fonts. If that ever changes we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Patient Portal
A separate service.
Booking, prescriptions and messaging run on the myClinic365 Patient Portal, which is operated by a separate provider on its own website and has its own cookie and privacy notices. You will see those when you log in.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will reset your language choice and re-show any dismissed notices, but will not stop the site working.
